AU Home Loan Calculator is built by Windy Road Technology (windyroad.com.au). The short version: we don't store what you enter.

What happens to the numbers you share

When you use the calculator in ChatGPT, the financial details you provide — income, debts, expenses — are sent to our server, used to work out your estimate, and returned. They are processed in memory and never written to a database. We keep no accounts, no profiles, and no history of your figures.

Your ChatGPT conversation

Your conversation lives with OpenAI under OpenAI's privacy policy. We can't see your chat history — our server only receives the figures ChatGPT sends for each calculation.

What we do count

We keep simple usage counts — landing page views, clicks that open ChatGPT, calculator cards shown, and estimates run — to understand whether the calculator is useful. Each event contains only its type and time, with no identity and no financial details. We don't try to link a website visit to a particular ChatGPT conversation.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Google Cloud Run) keeps standard infrastructure logs — timestamps, IP addresses, and request status — for a short period, for security and reliability. We don't log the contents of your requests.

This website

This page and the rest of homeloancalc.au set no cookies and run no third-party trackers. The home page sends the two anonymous usage counts described above to our own calculator service.

Where our data comes from

The calculator fetches public interest-rate and inflation figures from official sources. Nothing about you is ever sent to them.
